The dusty attic air was thick with the scent of forgotten things. Sarah, moving slowly, as if through water, navigated the cluttered space. She'd been cleaning out her grandmother's house, a task that had felt like an insurmountable climb. Discovering the time capsule was the last thing she expected.

Inside, nestled amongst yellowed newspaper clippings and dried flowers, was a small, leather-bound journal. The handwriting was familiar, yet alien. She flipped through the pages, reading entries filled with a vibrant energy that felt impossibly distant from her current state. The journal was full of wild plans and impossible dreams. She sighed.
